If you think you need to get in shape before you can start, you have it backwards. Foundations is where you start, exactly as you are.
The most common thing we hear is "I want to try CrossFit, but I should get in shape first." It's the one worry that stops good people from ever walking in. Here's the truth: nobody arrives in shape. That's what the coaching is for.
You will not be dropped into a class and told to keep up. You start one-on-one with a coach who teaches you the movements at your pace, in a room that's just the two of you. When a group class finally feels like the obvious next step, you'll be ready for it.
Three 45-minute sessions, one-on-one. No class to keep up with, no crowd to hide in. Just focused coaching built around you.
You learn the core movements and how to scale each one to what your body can do today. We build the habit before we build the intensity.
It's how most people start here. Not because we require it, but because it works. It's paid onboarding, not a free trial, and it's honest work for real coaching.
We start with an InBody scan, so you have a real picture of your body composition from day one, then a photo, and we book your 90-day check-in right there on the spot. Then you learn the squat, most likely with an empty barbell, and finish with a short workout scaled to you. You should leave feeling like you could have done more. That's the point, not a failure.
You learn how real strength moves through your body, from the middle out. We talk through practical nutrition, real food and protein, and you pick one habit to start. Not a diet, just one change you can actually keep.
You put the pieces together and run a short workout the way a class runs it. We get you set up on the member app and the community group, and before you leave, you book your first group class and your coach knows you're coming.
Foundations is coached by Joe, Cj, or Kim. Experienced coaches whose job in these sessions is simple: make sure you leave feeling welcomed, capable, and glad you came. Meet the full team.

All three sessions happen inside seven days of signing up, and usually in the same week. We schedule them around your life, at times that actually work for you. That's the whole point of one-on-one: your sessions, your schedule. We coach busy adults from Spring Hill, Thompson's Station, Franklin, and Columbia, and we build the timing around your week, not ours.
If you have real CrossFit experience, Foundations may not be for you. We don't make that call over the phone. Come take a complimentary trial class first, move with us, and we'll decide together where you start. If you'd rather have a lighter look before jumping into classes, there's a single-session version built for exactly that.
Clothes you can move in and a pair of gym shoes. Bring water. That's genuinely all you need to bring.
Park anywhere in the lot at 5002 Spedale Ct and come in through the main doors. Get here a few minutes early so you're not rushed.
You start one-on-one, so there's no class watching you and nobody to keep up with. Every member here started exactly where you are now.
No, and that worry is the exact reason Foundations exists. Nobody starts in shape. You begin one-on-one with a coach who scales every movement to what your body can do today, and you build from there. Getting in shape is the result, not the requirement.
That's normal here. Most people spend their first session with an empty barbell, learning the movement before any weight is added. We teach mechanics first and add load only when you're ready. You will not be handed something you haven't been coached through.

Then you may not need Foundations. We don't decide that on the phone. Come take a complimentary trial class first, move with us, and we'll figure out together where you should start. There's also a shorter single-session version if you just want a look before joining classes.
